Math Week Nov. 7

Hello 3rd grade families,
I hope everyone had great conferences last week! Please contact me with any questions about the report cards, we can even schedule a time to meet if you'd like.
Lately in math we have been digging deep into multiplication and division! We have talked about lots of strategies for solving multiplication and division, including drawing equal groups, arrays, using repeated addition or subtraction, and skip counting. Now that we have a solid understanding of these two operations it's time to start memorizing our facts! So please keep up the fact practice. Just a reminder, there is a tab on my blog with all sorts of games, websites, and IXL assignments that are just for math fact practice.
The homework for this week will be:
Monday- IXL F.3-F.13 (Pick 3)
Tuesday- IXL H.1
Wednesday- Practice test, evens
Thursday- Practice math facts

Have a wonderful week!
